With Food Waste Soup, the artist revisits one of the most emblematic symbols of pop art : the famous Campbell's soup canAndy WarholThis contemporary interpretation diverts the iconography of mass consumption to question its excesses.

In the center of the composition, a ripped open box lets its contents escape, splashing the ground in a controlled chaos. With this gesture, the work underlines the absurdity of food waste and the environmental consequences of industrial overproduction. Where Warhol sanctified the ordinary, this scene highlights its finitude and its collapse : the box is no longer an object of desire, but a abandoned waste, an icon in decline, like a consumerist system out of breath.

The contrast between the aesthetic staging and the brutality of the subject amplifies the reach of the message. The dramatic light accentuates the crumpled metallic textures, there dullness of spilled liquid, and the tension between visual appeal and harsh reality of waste.
