Unique Work of Art “Happy Globalization” – Limited Edition of 11 copies
With Happy Globalization, the artist offers a powerful reflection on the excesses of contemporary society and the growing role of technology. This dystopian staging, both dark and ironic, confronts the viewer with a vision where digital progress seems to clash with organic and spiritual realities.
At the heart of the composition, a crow perched on a funeral cross holds a smartphone displaying a digital landscape of the metaverse, a symbol of virtual worlds that attempt to supplant reality. At his feet, a broken tablet, marked with the infinity symbol (META-Facebook), lies in the earth like a relic of a declining era. Evocative inscriptions such as “RIP” and “Requiescat in Putrefactio” highlight the fragility of technological utopias., questioning the supposed immortality of artificial systems in the face of the natural cycles of life and death.
L'twilight atmosphere, supported by a dramatic lighting and subtle contrasts, recalls the visual universe of David Lynch (Twin Peaks), where the strange and the symbolic intertwine to create a poetic tension. Each detail, meticulously composed, invites a critical contemplation of the current world.
Shot in limited series of 11 copies, each work is numbered, signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
The printing is done on the prestigious Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta paper 315g, recognized for its museum qualities and its exceptional rendering. Each print benefits from a meticulous handcrafted finish : mounted on a medium wood support with a special Fine Arts glue, then protected by three coats of matte varnish, guaranteeing visual depth and optimal durability.
